What Are You Waiting For?

In my experience waiting is active not passive.   There is much to be done as we wait for that brighter day, better opportunity, arrival of a person, relief from pain…

More than a list of things to do, preparation is also the time we take to observe where we are, who we are and who God is.  This internal work advances us moreso than checking items off a to-do list.

At times I have grown impatient waiting for God, only to discover that he was waiting for me.
